Difficulty: ✮✮✩✩✩    2/5 (Easy - Moderate)

Hawk Falls is part of Hickory Run State Park and while you are here, you should check out the glacial Boulder Fields in the park as well.

To start your hike to Hawk Falls, park in the area designated by the directions above and walk down the Hawk Falls Trail roughly .4 miles. The path will cross Hawk Run and shortly after get more narrow and larger boulders appear. You need to stay close to the creek to see the waterfall and there's a path that leads to the bottom on the rocks. Use caution, it was slick my last time here.

  • Nice worn path, lots of rhododendron on the way down
  • After the bridge, paths narrow out, stay on one close to the creek
  • Not Handicapped Accessible
